NOSIDER
Synthetic Garderobe
Psychoactive Garments

Nosider is the physical manifestation of my spiritual journey—born in the most unexpected place: the suburbs of Northeastern Thailand. It’s a region where “fashion” holds little cultural weight, a place as anti-fashion as it gets.

At its core, Nosider aims to introduce a new design language rooted in universality and freedom from gender stereotypes, blending conceptual ready-to-wear into a new dressing system. It imagines a world where people aren’t afraid to express themselves authentically, to stand firmly in their truth. These garments challenge societal norms and reshape perceptions of what clothing can mean for both the wearer and the observer. The twisted silhouettes, unsettling ideas, and unconventional perspectives are a deliberate provocation. In Thailand, it’s rare to see people who dress with intention or self-expression. Through Nosider, I long to build a connection—a community of outsiders, a collective of creatives, a tribe of “different” beings.

Nosider stands for raw authenticity. It’s for those who think outside the box, embrace their individuality, and are bold enough to live their truth.

The key fabric in this collection is Thai silk—a unique and timeless textile deeply rooted in my upbringing. At local gatherings, it was common to see the elderly adorned in silk. I wanted to reinterpret that tradition through a modern lens that aligns with my aesthetic. This capsule collection is called Omakuva, which means “self-portrait” in Finnish. From Tsai Ming Liang to Bergman to Xmal Deutschland and obscure music, these designs, these images, these ideas are all fragments of my reflection, drawn from film, music, and philosophy. They are, in essence, pieces of me.

Nosider takes its name from an interpretation of the Pāli word Suññatā, which refers to the concept of "emptiness" or "voidness" in Buddhist philosophy. Suññatā describes the absence of inherent, independent existence in all things—a fundamental insight in Buddhist teachings that points to the nature of reality beyond ordinary perception. Nosider embodies this philosophical perspective, emphasizing a state of mind transcending material and spiritual dualities. The Dharmachakra inspires the brand’s symbol and logo—the Wheel of Dharma—combined with lotus petals, representing the path to enlightenment and spiritual purity.
